Reheating Instructions
Congratulations and Thank you for purchasing the highest quality, cooked pork product made in the world. We have completely replicated the original Roman Porchetta recipe, and we now prepare it right here in the US.
For best results:
- Thaw completely and preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Cover any exposed meat with aluminum foil. DO NOT COVER THE SKIN. The skin should be exposed to the dry heat of the oven to produce a crispy, crackling.
- Place the roast on a greased rack, over a pan, in the center of the oven.
- Reheat for the desired center temperature but DO NOT overheat to prevent drying of the roast. 140 degrees f. at the center of the roast is commonly preferred. The internal temperature will continue to rise after removing from the oven. Do not place in a warming cabinet or add steam heat as it will soften the skin.
- Carve thinly and serve.
For Petite Porchetta only -- remove the cooking net prior to reheating.
It is best served without a garnish, due to its high level of seasoning.
